Returns and Refunds Policy for Irish and EU Customers

  • Return Conditions & Diminished Value

    To receive a full refund, items must be returned in a condition reflecting a basic, reasonable in-store inspection (i.e., tried on for sizing and fit only).

    • Handling & Wear: You are legally liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and fit of the apparel. If items are returned showing clear signs of wear (such as makeup or deodorant marks, perfume, or fabric damage), a deduction of up to 100% will be applied to your refund.

    • Tags & Packaging: Items should ideally be returned with their original manufacturer tags and matching branded packaging. If essential retail hang-tags have been removed, or if matching manufacturer barcode identifiers are missing, a deduction (typically 10% to 20%) will be applied to cover the administrative and retail cost of restoring the item to a sellable state.

    • Hygiene Exceptions: For health protection and hygiene reasons, certain items cannot be returned or refunded once their protective packaging or seal has been opened or broken. This strictly includes tights, undergarments, and close-fitting intimate apparel.

    How to Return an Item

    To initiate a return, please visit our online Returns Portal on our website to submit your request electronically. Alternatively, you can contact us at info@studiodancewear.ie with your order number and details of the items you wish to return. We will provide you with return instructions and a return authorization.

    You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods unless the item is faulty or we made an error with your order. We highly recommend using a trackable shipping service (such as DPD or An Post), as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

    Refunds

    Once we receive and inspect your returned item(s), we will process your refund within 14 days. The refund will be issued to your original payment method in Euro (EUR).

    Please note that for full order cancellations, standard outward shipping costs will be refunded. If a premium or express shipping method was selected at checkout, only the standard shipping rate will be reimbursed.

    Depending on your payment provider, it may take additional time for the credit to appear in your account.

    Exchanges

    If you need a different size or colour, please submit an exchange request through our online returns portal or contact us directly. We will be happy to arrange an exchange subject to stock availability. Alternatively, you can return the original item for a refund and place a new order online.

    Faulty or Damaged Items

    If you receive a faulty or damaged item, please contact us immediately at info@studiodancewear.ie with clear photos of the issue. We will arrange for a replacement or a full refund, including any return shipping costs incurred.
